As a software developer, I couldn't believe how poorly the migration was handled from 2010 to 3. Multiple versions, and very poor support. I felt like I was either talking to someone who didn't understand English, didn't understand the product, was a poor example of a turing engine, or all of the above. Finally, they just stopped responding to my pleas for help. They clearly either didn't figure this out, or maybe they turned the development project over to a totally new group who never used the original product in a day-to-day basis. They did release a new version of 2010 that let me use it for a while, rather than forcing me to use 3. But today (8/31) Twitter turned off its old API so 2010 is now useless. I ended up manually copying my white list from 2010 before it stopped working, but dread having to copy/paste each of the hundreds of names back into 3.
